Bay Area Drawing Groups?

Hey folks-

Any fellow East Bayers/ San Franciscans able to clue me into all the figure drawing spots/classes/sessions/etc? Been here six months and am looking to draw more and more so any leads will be appreciated!

    I'm mostly familiar with North Bay groups, but there are several in the city that advertise on Craigslist under "artists". I know of one at the Mission Cultural canter, a private 2x a week group also in the mission, I believe there is a group at Precita Eyes, check at Ft Mason, I know they have a sculpture group...

    This is the most comprehensive list I've seen anywhere. Of course, I'd be sure to phone any place that you go, in case it's not completely up to date, but I've never found that to be the case. I need to get back into some of these, myself...thanks for reminding me : ). Hope you find something that suits you, and please give us a review if you do? Thanks!

      I'm not sure how up-to-date that list is, either. I know that I am completely unable to contact the person who runs the site to update my model listing.So, yeah, call first!

      Thanks Grrr. I've actually seen that list and was just curious to find out if there was even more beyond that list- newer stuff since it debuted.

        Well, I didn't notice these on that list, and have gone to both in the past year: Walnut Creek Civic Arts (in WC, of course) and Studio One in Oakland. Good Guild models, for the most part, and uninstructed, which is the only kind that I want. Maybe check those two out....they're cheap enough, and weekly during much of the year : ).
